Mr. Frazier is a veteran journalist and newspaper publisher who
has chosen financial planning as a mid-life career challenge. His
25 years in reporting, editing and business management at newspapers
in Michigan, Alaska and Washington have given him particular insight
into the decision-making that must accompany any successful financial
planning strategy. He holds both the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66
securities licenses. He also offers advisory services as an Investment
Adviser Representative of The Planner's Network, a Registered Investment
Adviser. Working in concert with Mr. Welsh, Mr. Frazier is expanding
AFA's service in Washington State, where Anacortes Financial Associates
was established in 2001.
He shares Mr. Welsh's philosophies about financial planning and
wealth management. Mr. Welsh, whom Mr. Frazier met during a 16-year
journalism career in Alaska, has been a personal friend and financial
advisor of Mr. Frazier for more than two decades. Mr. Frazier agrees
that all successful relationships are based on a foundation of trust
and respect, qualities he values highly and incorporates into his
client relationships.
Mr. Frazier became active in his community as editor and publisher
of the Anacortes American newspaper from 1994-2001. He has served
leadership roles in the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce, Anacortes
Rotary Club, Anacortes Public Library Foundation and Island Hospital
Health Foundation.
